Description
This indicates an attempt to access Skype.Skype is an application that allows users to chat, and make voice and video calls over the Internet. Users can upload files in a chat message. Skype also provides group conference calls in addition to one-to-one calls. Skype is available for the major platforms - Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, Android and iOS. Most of Skype's service is free. However, Skype Credit is a paid service which allows users to call a mobile phone number. The ownership of Skype has switched hands over the years since it was created in 2003. It is currently owned by Microsoft. Skype uses a proprietary p2p protocol.
