A malware bot is a type of malware which exerts control over a target system and in turn receives instructions from a remote control server.

Symptoms

There are numerous symptoms of a malware bot infection, including but not limited to:

• System slowdown
• New files, folders, processes and services being created
• Registry entries being modified, deleted or created
