Description
It indicated that an attacker sends a large buffer with specially crafted data to the target MS SQL server.
Affected Products
Microsoft SQL 7.0 SP3 and prior.
Impact
An attacker can supply a large buffer with specially crafted data to cause the MS SQL "mssqlserver" service to crash.
Recommended Actions
Apply appropriate patches or Upgrade the system to the latest non-vulnerable version.
