Description
This indicates an attack attempt to exploit a Remote Code Execution vulnerability in Microsoft Media Player.
The vulnerability is due to an error when the vulnerable software handles a maliciously crafted Asf file. As a result, a remote attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application, via a crafted Asf file.
Affected Products
Windows Media Player 6.4 and older versions.
