MS.WMPlayer.Remote.DoS

Description

This indicates an attack attempt against a Denial Of Service vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Media Player.
The vulnerability is caused by an error when the vulnerable software accesses a null pointer. It allows a remote attacker to cause a Denial Of Service condition via sending a crafted RTSP response to vulnerable software.

Impact

Denial of Service: Remote attackers can crash vulnerable systems.
