Description
This indicates an attack attempt against an Authentication Bypass vulnerability in MySQL.
The vulnerability is due to the application having a default set of account credentials. A remote attacker can exploit this and gain SYSTEM Level privileges.
Affected Products
All version of MySQL in Microsoft Windows.
Impact
System Compromise: Remote attackers can gain control of vulnerable systems.
Recommended Actions
Currently we are unaware of any vendor supplied patch or updates available for this issue.
Alternatively, it is recommended to change the password for original installation of MySQL to a complex password, and set security privileges for all users.
