Nokia.PC.Suite.Video.Manager.MP4.File.Handling.DoS

Description

This indicates an attack attempt against a Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Nokia PC Suite.
The vulnerability is caused by an error when the vulnerable software handles a malformed ".mp4" file. It allows a remote attacker to crash vulnerable systems via a crafted MP4 file.

Affected Products

Nokia PC Suite 7.1.180.64 and earlier

Impact

Denial of Service: Remote attacker can crash vulnerable systems.
