Description

This indicates an attempt to launch a reverse shell on a Linux server.
A reverse shell is a type of shell in which the target machine communicates back to the attacking machine. The attacking machine has a listener port on which it receives the connection, and command execution is achieved.

Affected Products

Any unprotected Linux server is vulnerable to the attack.

Impact

System Compromise: Remote attackers can gain control of vulnerable systems.
