Description of Dialer

This particular Dialer integrates with the Internet Browsing Software, as a Browser Helper Object (BHO). It is part of a Dialer package responsible for adding a Windows Dial-Up Network entry, and, using its capabilities as a BHO, it is able to instruct the Internet browser to dial the surreptitious DUN entry. Like any Dialer, there exists a strong possibility of silent MODEM use, and potential for unintended toll charges on one's phone bill.

System Alteration Upon Installation

• The file BHOmod.dll will be installed in to the Windows directory and/or the Windows System directory.
• Standard registry entries will added to support the BHO and dialer components, and force execution upon opening the Internet browsing software.

Recommended Action

Remove the file BHOmod.dll from both the Windows directory and Windows System directory.
