Fortinet Discovers Microsoft Windows Code Integrity Module Denial of Service Vulnerability
Summary
Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a Denial of Service vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Code Integrity Module.
Microsoft Windows is a group of graphical operating system families, all of which are developed and sold by Microsoft.
The Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the way that the Windows Code Integrity Module performs hashing. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could cause a system to stop responding and prevent authorized users from using system resources.
