Description
This indicates a possible attempt to exploit a Denial of Service vulnerability in the LANMAN service on Microsoft Windows 2000.
The vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers by sending a stream of malformed data to the microsoft-ds port (port 445). This leads to cpu and memory exhaustion, resulting in a Denial of Service condition.
