FortiClient Outbreak Detection Service

Attackers often look for easy targets where endpoints have known un-patched vulnerabilities, especially for popular applications. FortiClient Outbreak Detection service helps detect endpoints with known critical or high vulnerabilities which are being targeted by attackers in the wild. FortiClient brings visibility into vulnerable endpoints that are easy targets or may have already been silently hunted by attackers. When an outbreak is reported by FortiGuard, an updated Outbreak Detection Package is pushed to FortiClient EMS to identity affected endpoints based on known IOC.
