Merak.Media.Player.M3U.File.Buffer.Overflow
Description
This indicates an attack attempt against a Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Merak Media Player.
The vulnerability is caused by a boundary error when handling a malformed ".m3u" playlist file. A remote attacker may be able to exploit this to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application, via a crafted ".m3u" file.
