HP.Data.Protector.Media.Operations.Memory.Corruption
Description
This indicates an attack attempt to exploit a Memory Corruption vulnerability in HP Data Protector Media Operations.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient sanitizing of user supplied inputs in the application. As a result, a remote attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application or possibly cause a denial of service condition.
Affected Products
HP Data Protector Media Operations 6.20 and earlier versions.
Impact
System Compromise: Remote attackers can gain control of vulnerable systems.
