Description
This indicates an attack attempt against a Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the Advantech ADAMView.
The vulnerability is due to lack of validation for properties data when the vulnerable application handles a maliciously crafted file. An attacker can exploit this by tricking an unsuspecting user into downloading a malicious file and process it to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected users.
