MongoDB.BSON.Handling.Remote.DoS

Description

This indicates an attack attempt against a denial of service vulnerability in MongoDB.
The vulnerability is caused by an error when vulnerable application handles a malformed BSON message. A remote attacker may be able to exploit it to cause a denial of service condition on affected systems.

Affected Products

MongoDB versions 2.4.12, 2.6.7 and 3.0.0-rc8.

Impact

Denial of Service: Remote attackers can cause the server abnormal termination.
