Magento.remote_image.Arbitrary.File.Upload

Description

This indicates an attack attempt to exploit a Remote Code Execution vulnerability in Magento web e-commerce platform.
The vulnerability is due to an error when handling a malformed remote image file. A remote attacker may be able to exploit this to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application, via a crafted HTTP request.

Magento version ver 2.1.6 and the prior

Impact

System Compromise: Remote attackers can gain control of vulnerable systems.
